Registration Policies
The Cape Charles Sailing Camp and its co-organizers are not responsible for lost or damaged personal property. All scheduled events are subject to change. I understand that no fees will be refunded or transferred unless a child is unable to participate due to an accident or illness per physician orders. Children's photos and quotes may be used for publicity purposes. In case of an emergency, and if a family physician cannot be reached, I hereby authorize my child to be treated by Certified Emergency Personnel (i.e. EMT, First Responder, and/or Physician).
Refund Policy:
To receive a full refund, written notification MUST be submitted at least two weeks prior to the camp start date. Cancellations within 0 to 13 days prior to the program will NOT receive a refund. If you need to transfer your child's camp session, we cannot guarantee a space will be available on another date. To change any reservation please email: info@capechalressailingcamp.com. No other refunds will be issued and we are not able to reschedule missed days.
Weather Policy:
Hands on experiences are the best way to learn to sail, so our emphasis is on learning by doing. Children will be sailing 90% of the time (weather permitting). Weasel Creek Watershed Expeditions LLC will keep up to date information on weather related changes. In signing this document, I hereby give Weasel Creek Expeditions LLC and Cape Charles Community Sailing LLC permission to adjust the schedule according to weather and my child will participate in any changes.
Sailing Program Conduct Policy

1.Sailors are required to wear Life Jackets while on the water.

2. Sailors are required to wear closed toed shoes at all times. (example: crocs or water shoes) FLIP FLOPS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE!

3. Sailors are expected to be respectful of CCSC and WCWS staff, grounds, and equipment, as well as fellow campers.

4. Sailors are expected to behave appropriately with other campers.

5. Sailors need to listen to and follow Instructor's directions; they are concerned for your safety and the safety of others.

6. Sailors must pass the given swim test.

7. Offensive language of any type will NOT be tolerated.

8. I will respect the Chesapeake Bay and Cape Charles shores and the creatures that make them their home.
